In this lesson, we introduce and explore fatigue, burnout, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia.

Objective

Be familiar with fatigue and burnout and explore symptoms, root causes and evidence-based therapies for chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.

Description

Define and differentiate fatigue, burnout, chronic pain, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and fibromyalgia. List symptoms of CFS. Discuss the key characteristics and symptoms of fibromyalgia. List the root causes of burnout, fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia. Discuss “the No. 1 remedy” of replacing seed oils with healthy fats. Provide evidence-based nutrients, supplements and foods that can help to address root causes of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Discuss evidence-based techniques.
