Distinguish chronic pain from acute pain (which involves much more than symptom duration), and review causes, evidence-based therapies, and successes.
Define chronic pain in short. Compare and contrast chronic and acute pain. Cite the prevalence of chronic pain. Provide a list of symptoms. Note conditions that may activate the nervous system and lead to chronic pain. List root causes of chronic pain. Discuss how chronic pain manifests and continues. Note conditions that may be causing or directly related to chronic pain. Share success stories of lessening or resolving chronic pain.
