Description

Describe asmita. Provide the sutra that addresses asmita and translate it. Provide a metaphor to help convey the core teaching of asmita. Provide another way to communicate a distinction between the ego and the Self. Describe asmita in terms of the “I-maker” or the “story of self.” Explain the two primary “forms of delusion” that asmita refers to and the truth that it covers.
