Preparing to Use Sanskrit in Teaching – Sanskrit Study & Teaching Tips

In this lesson, we provide learning and practice tips to prepare for incorporating Sanskrit words into teaching.

Objective

Progressively develop the capability to use Sanskrit in teaching by practicing vowel pronunciation and learning common Sanskrit words that form the components of pose names.

Description

Become familiar with practice strategies and tips for maximizing study and teaching effectiveness in regard to the use of Sanskrit. Practice the two pronunciations for five Sanskrit vowels / vowel combinations. Learn the Sanskrit words that are commonly combined to form asana names. Become aware of resources to support the study of Sanskrit.
