In this lesson, we explore anxiety, and considerations for relief and healing.

Objective

Be familiar with the naturalness of anxiety and the physiology of chronic anxiety, plus a broad scope of yoga practices, nutrition, and other tools and techniques that can support students experiencing anxiety symptoms.

Description

Describe the difference between typical worry or situational anxiety and chronic anxiety. Discuss the physiology of chronic anxiety and list potential symptoms. Provide an overview of yoga techniques for consideration for relieving symptoms of anxiety. Discuss why diet and nutrition are so vital in regard to anxiety, why reducing toxic load is so important, and more than 20 nutritional considerations for relieving and preventing anxiety. List many more well-researched tools and techniques for consideration to relieve anxiety.
