Clinical Doctor & Trainer

I am writing to say a giant THANK YOU for all of your wonderful resources. I’ve spent the last few months slowly using your materials to create my [training] manual. I am greatly appreciative of the clarity, structure, and organization of these resources. I love the broad and diverse perspectives you have included, along with the extensive links to further information. Not to mention the wonderful service you provide by alerting me when updated versions of my downloaded files are available. I was nervous to make such a large purchase, but it was sooooo worth it. Thank you for all of the time, energy, and thoughtfulness you put into the creation and organization of these thorough resources. I truly appreciate them and look forward to using them with my students this year!  Thank you again.

As a general rule, people don’t often take the time to proactively send a positive note. And yet it can make such an impact. These kind words meant a lot to us. We don’t need to hear it all the time, but now and then, it can really help, and these kind words made a difference.

I really appreciate all you do for the yoga community, teachers and trainers alike!

My Yoga Alliance application was approved! YAYYYYY!!! Looking forward to using the resources I now have available from your site. Thank you so much for all your help and guidance.

July 26 2023

Thank you so much for your assistance. It was really helpful. I had a call with Yoga Alliance yesterday and explained to them the rationale behind [having training content on adapting for individual needs such as pain].

I also backed it up with the details you provided. They were happy with it and asked me to add a disclaimer [that teachers don’t recommend treatment or diagnose – which we already include in our materials].

After I edited the document and resubmitted it, they approved it within hours! Thank you so so much! This is the happiest thing ever!

This trainer used our materials to support her foundational level teacher trainings. She then re-joined, and sent this note…

We are planning an advanced training. We truly appreciate YTC. You make our lives so much easier.

I absolutely love your material. You are so passionate and knowledgeable. Thank you for all your hard work.

I was having trouble figuring out what I should download but I used the spreadsheet and just downloaded everything that was listed under “Foundations.” It became life saving.

This is very good information. I look forward to continuing to grow my collection. Thank you for making my job as a studio owner so much less time consuming. I appreciate your continued support.

July 19, 2022

I am renewing as your site is just invaluable. I love it and I’m very grateful.

February 10, 2022

While my original intention was to access resources to prepare for a YTT, I have been using your site daily for self study and to level up my own knowledge/teaching. I’ve (only) been teaching for 7 years and even though it’s something I do everyday, the more I learn, the more I realize just how little I know. Everyday, I learn something new and it makes me feel more confident teaching my classes safely.

I am running a workshop on Yoga & Stress (so timely and also inspired by your site!) and the handouts are perfect for students to take home. It’s interesting without being too heavy. As for all the information on the site — my goodness I just keep going further and further down the rabbit hole!

It’s disturbing to think that there are instructors out there with less experience/knowledge who are teaching and long-time instructors who haven’t upgraded their education, just teaching what they’ve always taught. Anyway, I really appreciate you and the invaluable resources you’ve made accessible to me and the yoga community at large. I am already a better teacher for it. Thank you.

From a trainer member whose lengthy teaching and training experience includes training within the Canadian school system…

You are both amazing. I am so impressed with this all! The content is beautiful and it was an awesome decision on my part 😉 I love your style of work! I will be recommending you to all I know.

From a trainer member and studio owner with extensive business, education, and training experience…

I have a manual for my 200hr YTT and wanted to add more information and structure it differently, but I was getting overwhelmed with the project. I found your website and was so surprised at the amount of information and knowledge that it made me smile so hard and it is absolutely worth the money I paid. The amount of work and research your team has put into this base is amazing and needed so THANK YOU for making my life easier. What would’ve taken me so long to put together, now I feel confident I can put together in a week. What also makes it so good is that you have also allowed me to edit, reprint and distribute without the hassle of copyright issues. This to me is priceless! So sincerely thank you and I am glad I invested in your products!

From a trainer member who built her entire 200 hour curriculum, training manual and assessment plan using our material…

I have to say, the info is fantastic– as I’ve been looking through it, it is so comprehensive and amazing!! Yes, it gives us the support to teach and communicate with students in a way that brings out the best we can be. We can deliver the knowledge in a way so that they can be the best they can be, too… and to know it’s only the beginning. Thanks for all this.

From an experienced and knowledgeable teacher whose formal training has been in India and his practice and teaching has been primarily in the U.S.

As I’m working with these resources in a more in-depth manner, I remain blown away by their quality and detail. They align so well with all of my own resources, and I am having the *MOST* fun creating with it. As I’m creating more and more, I see how your promise of helping yoga teachers be their best is not just good marketing– its something you are truly doing. Having help organizing this material has allowed me to present it with a maximum of efficacy for retention and understanding for students with such varied interests and backgrounds.

The resources that you provide fit together so nicely [and inspire me to share my love for mythology, chanting, and so on.] It feels a bit like I’m now prepared to defend a thesis — able to speak extemporaneously on each of the many topics and then field questions as they come up dynamically… its just SO much fun.

March 27, 2020

I wanted to share with you that I heard from Yoga Alliance today for the first time about my Yoga School application. He said the outlines and information shared was so well done that just minor technical tweaks were needed. He said I made his job easy and that it was not “if” my application would be approved, it is just a matter of ‘when’. I used the syllabus you offered with the purchase I made from Yoga Teacher Central with just some minor changes. I so appreciate the information you are making available to the yoga community and am beyond grateful.

This trainer summed up exactly what we’ve been trying to achieve with a brilliant analogy.

It’s definitely been a valuable investment. I feel like I received the blueprint for the ideal house structure and now I can decorate with my own style. 🙂

More About the Customizable Content

Our customizable materials have been used by providers across the globe. We have clients throughout the US from Alaska to Maine… across Canada from BC to Newfoundland… in Mexico, Costa Rica… South Africa, Australia and New Zealand… the United Arab Emirates, Greece, France, the UK and the Netherlands.

We offer you a precise guide to ensure delivery of core knowledge that your students and clients need, but the materials aren’t “cookie cutter” and no two providers using our material are likely to have materials that look the same because every provider can pick and choose content and customize it to make it their own.

Powerful Learning Materials At Your Fingertips

You may choose curriculums (that you can then customize as desired). A curriculum is a Word doc that provides a high-level look at the learning modules and then provides a step-by-step progression of learning objectives followed by a concise description of every lesson within each module.

The curriculums are just the beginning. You also have complete flexibility to choose lessons and other training materials from a vast library.

  • The download library includes high quality lessons (that can serve as manual content and lecture guides), quizzes with answer keys (that also work very well as lecture support), and presentations.
  • A credit system gives you the freedom to select exactly what you want without any limits on accessing the full library. Credits are used to redeem downloadable items from among more than 500 subjects offered in many formats (lessons, assessments, Powerpoints).
  • The content is customizable.
  • Make as many copies of the materials as you need or send electronically to your students for offline access.
  • In addition to the download library, you have full access to the entire online member library.
  • The content is derived from expert sources and precisely organized.
  • For those conducting teaching trainings, our materials meets and exceeds Yoga Alliance core curriculum requirements, plus you receive templates with detailed content that you can copy/paste for completing the 200-hour, 300-hour and 500-hour YA applications.

Complete Flexibility

The library is vast — more than any provider or team of providers could ever use — and the content can be edited and custom branded.

You choose components from a vast library that can be mixed and matched and integrated with other material as you wish. Everything may be edited and branded as desired and thus, no two pieces using our materials will look the same.

Write us if you need anything or wish to schedule a call.

Structure & Supplementary Support

The training content is comprehensive, and organized with meticulous care. It can lend structure to your thinking, or prompt you to include something that you overlooked.

However, your in-class training need not be dictated by our material. The content can be used in any number of ways: it may be a valuable supplement to what you teach, providing background, contextual support, details or inspiration.

Of the Highest Quality

We consult dozens of expert sources on every topic, and scrutinize every single teaching. You see only that which meets high quality standards.

  1. We curate content from hundreds of sources among all yoga lineages. By combing through reams of sources, we bring a vast selection of teachings and tools.
  2. You won’t come across any weak “tips,” random opinions or immature assumptions.
  3. We cite and link to sources for verification and further study.

You can see the approach for yourself with an Individual Provider Membership and by perusing the free samples above.

Learning Perspectives

With all topics, you’ll find that the content:

  1. Provides context. Introduces topics within a a bigger context.
  2. Begins at the beginning. Clarifies assumptions and lay the foundation.
  3. Gives an overview, a lay of the land. Provides a summary with highlights.
  4. Digs deep, and makes it practical. Gets specific. Prioritizes wise application of information into actual teaching.

This organizational structure is not only a powerful way to approach topics, it gives you the flexibility to select content that best suits your needs for various trainings. For instance, how you present chakras will depend on the training (200RYT, 300RYT 500RYT, specialization, or a workshop) and on how much you wish to focus on the topic overall. For example, when choosing content for chakras, you can choose exactly what you need from these content pieces:

  • Energy & Subtle Body Anatomy Intro — The greater philosophy of which chakras are a part
  • Chakras Intro — The big picture, the background and philosophy
  • Chakras Summary & Highlights — A look at all the chakras at once
  • Muladhara Chakra, Svadhisthana Chakra, etc. — Comprehensive coverage of each chakra, including associated themes and practices

More Details

Every subject has been placed within a precisely organized structure. This gives you:

  1. A bird’s eye view for more efficient, effective planning.
  2. A step-by-step process for guiding clients in a progressive learning path, accounting for prerequisite vocabulary and knowledge.
  3. The ability to make mindful choices and trade-offs on what to cover and what to assign or recommend as independent study.
  4. The ability to combine lessons, which are discrete units of knowledge with a clear scope, for various applications. For example, if you combine spinal anatomy, core anatomy, posture and pain, you’ve got an in-depth knowledge guide for studying low back pain and yoga.

In summary, you get:

  • Meticulous research and sourcing for the highest quality content.
  • Flexible, structured curriculums for trainings of any length or level, from workshops and 200hr trainings, to specialized and advanced trainings.
  • Specializations and immersions include: breathing & pranayama, restorative yoga, various anatomy focuses, spinal health & spinal issues, hip health & hip issues, strengthening and so on.
  • The flexibility to build a manual and curriculum to meet your specific desires.
  • All materials are customizable.
  • The rights to distribute the material to your trainees.

Occasionally we make significant content updates that we want to be sure our trainers have access to. In those cases, we send them the updated content free of charge, even after their membership has expired.

As you know, a good training is just the beginning. Continued study is a must. Our materials help your students and clients to be well-resourced. They can get up-to-speed efficiently and, just as importantly, as they are out working in the world and their interests and questions evolve, they’ll have excellent material to consult for years to come.

RYT200 Curriculum

The Foundations Curriculum is an ultra-complete syllabus of knowledge standards that meets and exceeds the Yoga Alliance 200-hour core curriculum. It includes:

  1. A precisely organized syllabus which lays the foundations (begins at the beginning) and builds knowledge in a sequential way
  2. A summary of learning objectives
  3. Detailed curriculum with lesson titles and descriptions that you may copy/paste/edit for your applications, marketing and other uses
  4. Yoga Alliance assessment requirements for each part of the curriculum, plus our resources that meet each requirement
  5. More sample content including a template for the Letter of Intent that YA requires in their RYS application

Here are a few snapshots from the Foundations Curriculum.

RYT200 Manual

Here are a few snapshots from the Foundations and RYT200 Training Manual & Workbook. It’s a fully customizable template and has been successfully used by many trainers in their Yoga Alliance registration application.
